Yoga NorthendenNorthenden Fitness & Yoga runs one-hour hatha yoga classes comprising asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and guided relaxation/meditation.
Full and modified versions of each asana will be demonstrated and students are encouraged to adapt their own practice according to what best suits them. The classes aim to meet individual needs in a gentle and non-competitive environment. It can provide some much needed “me time” to “go within”, and unwind from daily stresses and responsibilities. Classes are suitable individuals aged 14 yrs+ both male and female. It is suggested you wear comfortable clothing, bring a drink and warm jumper (for the final relaxation). Please bring your own mat if possible. However, there are several spare mats and props available if you do not have your own.
