Toddler Yoga NorthendenToddler Yoga Northenden is a fun yoga class for walking age to preschool age children (approximately 12 months-5 years). Classes involve yoga postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation using games, music, story-telling and nursery rhymes.
It is understood that children in this age range have very different ability levels and short attention spans. This is a very relaxed and flexible class. Each child will be encouraged to participate in a very gentle fashion in a way that suits their individual abilities. Children are free to move about the designated space and "duck in and out" of the class as suits them. It is suggested that comfortable clothes are worn to give the child freedom to move. It is also suggested that the parent/caregiver joins in if they desire. Children of this age learn a great deal through imitation and hey, you could learn something new too! The class includes a healthy mindful snack. When: Wednesday 10.30-11.30 am (This class will return in 2018) Address: Northenden Methodist Church Hall, Palatine Road, Northenden. South Manchester. M22 4JS. Investment: £4.50 per class (drop in). £2.00 extra per sibling. Non-walking babies FREE Contact: Amanda (07882735008) to book your first class. Drop-in thereafter. The parent/caregiver must supervise their own child(ren) during the class. If you work in a nursery, creche or any other childcare setting and like the sound of this class, then please contact Amanda (07882735008) to bring this class to your setting.
